দিল্লির ফিরোজ শাহ কোটলা মাঠে শুক্রবার গ্রুপ বি’তে দিল্লি আর কেরলের মধ্যে ম্যাচ খেলা হয়েছে। এই ম্যাচে কেরলের অধিনায়ক শচীন বেবি টস জিতে দিল্লিকে প্রথমে ব্যাটিং করতে আমন্ত্রণ জানান। দিল্লির অধিনায়ক গম্ভীর কেরলের অধিনায়কের সিদ্ধান্ত সম্পূর্ণরূপে ভুল প্রমানিত করেন আর দুর্দান্ত ছন্দে নিজেকে মেলে ধরেন।
